(1) Pending Member - Any motorcycle enthusiast being of Newfoundland Heritage or having become an honorary Newfoundlander who has been introduced by a sponsor who is an Active Rock Rider member and completed the approved membership application form but who has not yet been voted into membership by a majority vote. The pending member must attend at least two society meetings or at least 2 rock rider social events or rides before he/she can be voted into Active membership. Pending Member has a non-voting status and shall not be permitted to wear the Rock Rider Crest.

(2) Active Member - Any motorcycle enthusiast being of Newfoundland heritage or having become a honorary Newfoundlander who has completed the obligatory requirements for membership and has been voted in by a majority of the society membership and has paid the required fees and dues and has been presented with the Rock Rider patch.

(3) Honorary Member – Any person of any heritage or ethnicity, rider or non-rider, who a majority of society members feel would be worthy of being a Honorary Member of the Rock riders Association and who would assist the club in furthering its stated aims. Non-voting status.

 Honorary Newfoundlanders must present evidence of having been Screeched In and hold the official Newfoundland Government documentation.

 Any member may be dismissed for cause from the club by a majority vote of all Active Members. Club patches must be returned to the Club by the dismissed member.

 Any member may withdraw from membership by providing a notice in writing to the Board of Directors through its Secretary.

 Any member who withdraws from the club voluntarily and who has served at least one year as a member shall be permitted to keep any Club Patches which he has purchased, may, by majority vote, be given honorary member status and a “honorary member” patch

 In the event that it becomes necessary to discipline a member for an infraction against the club, its Bylaws, or unsafe conduct while riding with the club, it will be the responsibility of the Board of Directors to handle the disciplinary.
